Troubleshooting

The iBGStar® Blood Glucose Monitoring System has been designed to work accurately under most usual conditions. On rare occasions, the iBGStar or the iBGStar® Diabetes Manager app will display an error message or not work as expected. This section should help you to troubleshoot most known issues.

Issue 1 »
iBGStar does not display the apply sample to test strip animation after inserting a BGStar Test Strip.

Issue 2 »
After applying the blood sample, the iBGStar doesn’t begin the calculating animation (1,2,3 Countdown) and no test result is displayed.

Application

The iBGStar® Diabetes Manager app for your iPhone® or iPod touch® combines the latest in interface design, diabetes data management, and mobile technology — to help you better manage your diabetes. Whenever you take a reading with iBGStar and it is connected to your iPhone or iPod touch, it automatically syncs your data with the iBGStar Diabetes Manager app. Data will also sync when you connect the iBGStar to the iPhone or iPod touch.

On rare occasions, the app will display an error message or not work as expected. This section should help you to troubleshoot most known application issues.
